Those who wish to walk should meet behind the Big Bear Lodge(Bingo Hall) parking lot on Route 13 at 12:30. A suggested contribution of $10 will help support the Andre Art Institute, a non profit organization. The event is cosponsored by the Brookline Conservation Commission. The presentation will be approximately three hours. For more information call (603)-673-7441.

The Andre Art Institute is a 120 acre sculpture park, located on the former "Big Bear" ski hill. On the hill are 27 scupltures, a studio, and Mr. Andre's private residence. Being a former ski hill, there are many trails. It consists of both hardwood and conifer stands and some places are thick with mountain laurel. At the bottom of the hill is the Big Bear Lodge and Bingo Hall, which is located on route 13, two miles north of the Massachusetts border. Behind the parking lot is a map that shows where the trails go. This is the starting point for the walk.
