Obviously a Russula of some sort, in the "fragrant/foetid" group. (No latex - so it's not a Lactarius.) It does have a slight odor of almonds. Spore print color unknown. Moist/sticky on the cap. Gill edges finely serrate/eroded. About 2" - 2.5" tall. Relatively thick-fleshed in the cap with no striations on the cap margin.
