Chicken of the Woods (not a "Hen", a "Chicken")
The classic edible mushroom - although it's best to avoid serving this to groups of people, as there seem to be many individuals with idiosyncratic reactions to eating this mushroom. The pore surface is obviously yellow (not pale as in L. cincinatus), and the top surface is orange. It gets thin and tough in age, so don't let it get too old.
