Boston Mycological Club
Colorful yellow/orange (orange when younger, becoming richer yellow as matures). Patches on cap are pale yellow (perhaps looking white against the brilliant cap color). Stem is white, sometimes yellow. Annulus is yellow, as are the remnants of the volval sac, which resembles bits of hard-boiled egg yolk. There is an obvious basal bulb that seems to lack a distinct margin.
